Not much going on obsessively playing the new Tomb Raider, I love it so ;o;. I have not been getting any drawings completed as of late ):, it seems like there is no where near enough hours in the day and yet there seems like there should be quite a few.  I want to be more active on DA but who knows if I will ever get back to being very active on here, I miss all my humans who used to be pretty active on here as well though I still get facebook time with some of them.  I just miss everyone's art and the time see it and make my own ):<.  Oh well, I will try and get some things finished soon. Not a ton to update on but figured I would make a short journal anyways. On the bright side :iconchickiedee: will probably being coming out play again this August again :D. Hopefully I will get to see :iconqueenofblackhearts: soon as well once again at some point.

I'm a shorty short 5 foot 3 and 1/4th an inch tall girl with normally blue and dark brown hair. I like to spend my time drawing and playing with my ratties. I was born in the year of the rat and I'm also a Leo :D. I'm very fond of J-rock and pretty boys who look like ladies. Shonen-ai is something I love to bits. As my bunny Kyle has said my crimes include graffitiing on cats and over-loving rats." 8D I tend to spout off nonsense. I love cute fluffy stuffed animals and shiny silver jewelry :heart:. I am a very pleasant person and do all I can to keep people I care about happy. If you do anything to hurt me I can be pure evil, I can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Lastly, I am currently working on a comic Game with my brother and Brother in-law in between the time I work on college stuff.

So wow, I must admit the first time I saw you was in 2007. Long ago on Sheezyart. You were of particular interest to me because of how forward you were because you didn't want a critique. Usually I understand this and I'm like cool whatevas, but then I went to your DA page and say a whole journal on why you don't want a critique. Really, I'm just wondering if you still find critiques useful in your growth as an artist? or have you still held that mindset for the last five or so years?

It is a matter of opinion and I take it with a grain of salt at this point, not that worried about it these days. If the information is a proper critique and useful I appreciate the time being taken to put it forward and take the information and apply it when possible in future works.

Useless tearing of artwork apart to inflate one's own ego without any useful and or helpful information however, I find just as useless as ever no matter who has posted it on any any piece of artwork by any person. Those are the ones I usually saw on just about everyone and anyone's art work back then.

That was a bit vague. Are you saying that critiques don't help you or you just don't enjoy critique?

Okay, I understand the second part where people will flame someone else's art, I've had someone flame me about my art. Heck, I've even had someone think I was flaming them and that was a hot mess of confusion. I can see how saying comments without viable reasons are inappropriate and useless to an artist growth.

Yes a proper critique can be helpful and give new ideas and whatnot is what I am saying for the first point for me and anyone.

The 2nd point is what drove the journal to happen.
